Page size: 185x235mm. For this project, the Pragmatica font family was chosen. It is a minimalist font in the style of Helvetica and early grotesques. The font is known for its mathematical precision, cold and restrained aesthetic. It works well in both long body text and headlines, making it a versatile choice for the entire book.
The page is divided into 5 columns, with 3 dedicated to the main text. Two additional columns on the left are aligned with two columns on the right, creating a shared space for the gallery of photos and quotes.
The quotes carry a sense of weight and confidence, emphasizing Marina Abramović's strong personality. The quotes embrace irregular edges and line breaks, reinforcing the bold nature of the content. Photographs are integrated seamlessly into the book's structure, thanks to the use of the Perfect Binding method, which ensures that no content is lost and the pages open fully, maintaining readability and visual integrity.
